Lagenorhynchus obscurus - the dusky dolphin! obscurus means "dark" and refers to its black body pattern; they are very lively and funny and swam for an hour so with our boat - hundreds of them. They also occur in south america and africa - patchy species distribution; not quite easily explained by the allopatric speciation mode.
